The 2014 West Coast Region third division league title race is down to wire as six teams are in contention for the region’s biggest football championship accolade with three more games to go before the end of the league season.

Current league leaders Jambanjellly United, Gunjur United, Brikama, Brufut, Kombo Kerewan United and Sifoe United all stand a better chance of winning the league title with three more games to go.

Jambanjelly United are currently leading the summit with 17 points in eight games three points ahead of Gunjur United.

Brikama and Brufut United are all with 14 points in eight games and four points ahead of Kombo Kerewan United and Sifoe United with 13 points each in eight games.

Jambanjelly United will be hoping to win their remaining three games against Nema United, Black & White of Berending and Brufut United to clinch the West Coast Region third division league title.

Gunjur United, Brikama and Brufut United are nursing the hope of winning their remaining games to fancy their chances of winning the league title and would make a virtue out of any slip of current league leaders Jambanjelly United in their three remaining fixtures.

Nema United and New Yundum are both fighting for survival in the West Coast Region third division and will be battling it out for a win in their remaining three games to keep their chances of staying in the league and avoiding relegation.
