Wallidan FC head coach Foday Bah has said his side can beat any team in the Gambia Football Federation first division league.

Speaking to reporters shortly after his team’s goalless draw with GPA in their week seven encounter played at the KG5 Mini Stadium, he said: “We can win any game; we can win any team, so we are not afraid and we will bounce back.”

Bah whose side only managed a single win in seven games, further stated that it is just that they are not winning, but they are performing to expectations.

“I’m disappointed with the results, but performance wise we play good football”, he said, adding that it is good for them that they are playing good football at the moment.

It is just that they are not grabbing the maximum points they want, he went on, pointing out that they just need a striker that will bang in the goals for them.

“We are defending very well, as well as creating chances, but putting the ball in the net is the problem.”

“I have the confidence that the boys can get us out of this position,” he went on, adding that he wants his team to play beautiful football and get the maximum points, at the same time.

They are missing some of their players through suspension, injury and sickness, the coach revealed, but was quick to add that he does not want to put the lack of winning on those players, because they registered 30 players for the league, and believe in all those players.
