Blue boys Wallidan will renew their title chase when they meet the Academy boys Samger in the week three fixtures of the Gambia Football Association (GFA) division one league tomorrow at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.

Wallidan who to Bakau United 1-0 in the first game of the new GFA league season were held to a pulsating1-1 draw against bitter rivals Bakau Giant Killers Steve Biko in their week two fixtures at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.

Wallidan are yet to pitch their form having struggled to score goals but they look ready to tackle Coach Jane Joof’s side in what might be proved to be a turning point for the Academy men.

They will be hoping to bounce back after their narrow 1-nil defeat to Bakau United in their week two fixtures last weekend.

Bakau Giant Killers, Steve Biko, who began their campaign with a goalless draw against Brikama United in Brikama, will come face to face with the newly promoted side, Young Africans, at the Banjul KG5 Mini-stadium tomorrow.

Young Africans are struggling in the league having only managed to collect a single point following their goalless draw against Interior in their two fixtures last week but the military squad has a game in hand against Armed Forces.

Elsewhere, the current league leaders Bakau United will take on Interior in the other week three fixtures at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium the same day.

Bakau United are currently leading the league table with maximum 6 points in two games and are set to maintain their superb start to the 12-club championship.

Meanwhile, Sunday’s games will feature second place occupant Brikama United who will travel to the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium to meet Armed Forces.

Armed Forces are 3rd place on the league table with 3 points in a single game and have a game in hand.

The current league champions, GPA, will battle it out with the FA and Super cup champions Gamtel at the Banjul KG5 Mini-stadium.

GPA, also known as the ferry boys, will be hoping to bounce back from their disappointing 2-1 defeat to Brikama United.

Elsewhere, Real de Banjul will face Africell in the other week three fixtures at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.

Real de Banjul collected 2 points in two games while Africell remain pointless in two games.
