Wallidan enjoy unbeaten steak

Blue boys Wallidan have maintained their unbeaten record in the 2012-2013 Gambia Football Association second division following their slender 1-0 win over Serrekunda United in the week-seven fixture played at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium on Friday.

Wallidan and Banjul United are the two teams in the second division yet to face defeat since the start of the season last month.

Banjul United beat Lamin United 2-0 at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Sait Matty defeated Tallinding United 1-0 at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.

Latrikunda United were held to a 1-1 draw by struggling KGI FC at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium. Bombada United also drew 1-1 with Serrekunda East at Brikama Mini Stadium.

Wallidan are leading the race with 15 points in seven games, Bombada United are 2nd with 14 points, Banjul United are 3rd with 13 points, Sait Matty are 4th position, Lamin United are 5th, Latrikunda United are 6th with 8 Points, Serrekunda United are 7th with 7 points, Serrekunda East are 8th with 6 points in seven games, Tallinding United are 2nd from bottom with 4 points, and KGI FC are languishing at the bottom of the table with 3 points in seven games.
