UTG Law Students Association set to hold end-of-Semester party, workshop

The University of the Gambia (UTG) Law Students Association will today stage an end of Semester Party, at the Aquarius Night Club, Mr Thomas Fuad Touray, the Vice-President of the Association has confirmed to this paper.

According to him, they will also hold a community leadership workshop on 1st June 2013, at the UTG Faculty of Law.

Mr Touray stated that the end of semester party is also meant to raise funds to meet some of their needs.

Noting that they would be sending invitations to the UTG Students Union, BPA, School of Medicine in Banjul, GTTI Law Students, Brikama College and also UTG Students at Brikama Campus and the public, to support and participate in the fund-raising party, he said, adding their tickets for the party are just pegged at D200 for all.

He said they are inviting law students to attend and then called on them to register with the Administrative Officer, Bobo Baldeh.

He said the topics to cover include “the power of dreams, what we need to make our dreams come true, the circle of values, democracy, how to hold meetings to obtain results, types of leaderships and the functions of leaderships.”
