Kemo Fatty, a rocky centre back who played a huge part in the success of the U-20 against Sierra Leone in the qualifiers at the Independence Stadium in Banjul, is reported to have been on trial with Qiryat Semona in Israel, reports monitored by Pointsport have stated.

Fatty, who plies his trade with Seaview Football club in the country's top flight football, was part of the history-making Gambia National U-17 team, who recorded their second African U-17 championship title at the expense of Algeria in Algiers in 2009.

Fatty, a no-nonsense central defender, is one of the most gifted youngsters in the country in recent times and has succeeded in establishing a formidable partnership with fellow centre back Lamin Samateh of Steve Biko during their time with the U-17 team.

His outstanding performance is hugely considered to be the driving force behind his success and has recently earned himself a promotion to the Gambia National U-20 team that is currently taking part in the U-20 qualifiers en route to Libya in 2011.
