West Coast Radio’s Hagie Drammeh and Abdoulie Bah are set to attend the second Arab Sports Media Forum to be convened in Ramallah and other Palestinian cities.
The duo are both invited by the Palestinian Football Association (PFA), which also organizes the annual Palestine Championship: From Nakba to Statehood – 2nd Edition, to take place in Palestine from May 14 to 23, 2012.
Ten nations will participate in the tournament. These are Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Jordan, Tunisia, Mauritania, Vietnam, and the host Palestine.
Within the same period, the Second Arab Sport Media Forum will be convened in Ramallah and other Palestinian cities, which will include workshops, lectures, visits to different places and other activities.
Hagie and Abdoulie will form part of a sizeable number of young sports journalists from around the world to benefit from the event aimed at promoting peace and improving the image of the Middle East nation and the region to the world through sport.
Hagie Drammeh is set to depart for the one-week event on Friday via Casablanca, Cairo and Amman, whilst his compatriot Abdoulie Bah will be joining the crew of young journalists from New York where he has been based for the past 3 months.
