Two arraigned for conspiracy

Ebrima Yaffa and Jerreh Mambureh were recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates' Court before Magistrate Baboucarr Secka, charged with conspiracy to commit a felony.

According to the particulars of offence, the two accused persons: Ebrima Yaffa and Jerreh Mambureh, on 30th May 2010, at Brikama-Town conspired to commit a felony to wit stole from a motor vehicle with a registration number K. Taal 1

The accused persons, both of whom pleaded not guilty to the charge were granted bail in the sum of D25, 000 each with a Gambian surety each.

In another development, one Ebrima Dibba was also recently arraigned before Magistrate Baboucarr Secka of the Brikama Magistrates' Court, charged with shop breaking.

The accused, who pleaded not guilty to the charge, was granted a court bail in the sum of D3, 000 with a Gambian surety.

According to the charge sheet, on 8th June 2010 at Brikama, the accused, Ebrima Dibba broke into the shop of one, Modou Secka with intent to steal.
