Turkish donate Ambulance to Ndikiri, Bansang

Bulent Sener, a Turkish national living in Germany and his Turkish friends and family in Hamburg have donated fully equipped ambulance to Ndikiri Kunda Village Development Association and Bansang, in the Central River Region (CRR).

The donated ambulances were handed to the beneficiary communities by the Turkish Ambassador, Ismail Sefa Yuceer, on behalf of the Turkish citizens. Musa Jallow received on behalf of the Chairman of Ndikiri Kunda Village Development Association, at a ceremony held at the Turkish Embassy.

The ambulance, which is worth around one million Dalasis, will serve the b beneficiary communities during emergency cases.

The donation came after it came to the attention of the Embassy that many lives are lost every year in certain communities as a result of the challenges that are faced due to lack of proper transportation means to reach health facilities on time.
