Real finished the year undefeated, after their last match against Toronto, with two wins and two draws in four matches.
Each club has one match remaining in the group stage, with Toronto FC hosting Arabe Unido in a meaningless tie, while Real are to battle Cruz Azul for top spot in Group A at Rio Tinto. Both matches take place on October 21.
