The president of the Gambia Supreme Islamic Council (GSIC), Alhaji Momodou Lamin Touray, has saidTobaski prayers will be observed tomorrow, Tuesday, as previously announced by his council over GRTS.
Touray, who was speaking in an interview with our reporter yesterday, said that it is some people who want to confuse themselves about the day for the Tobaski as the council has already announced a date for it.
"It is just that people are confusing themselves, but for us at the Supreme Islamic Council, we made the announcement several times on the national radio and television that Gambia will pray on Tuesday," he said, adding that this is the council's official announcement.
According to him, the council did the announcement not only for a day but for more than three days.
"So, I think this is what we can do at our own level," Touray told our reporter.
