The Department of State for Local Government, Lands and
Religious Affairs yesterday issued a news release announcing change in
leadership in the districts of Jarra West, Kiang East and Kiang West all in the
Lower River Region.
According to the release, the services of Seyfo Alhagie Yahya Jarjusey of Soma has been terminated with immediate effect and replaced by Ebrima Kinteh of Pakalanding as acting chief of Jarra West.
Seyfo Alhagie Momodou Njie of Kiang West district has also got his services terminated with immediate effect and replaced by Omar Gibba of Mandinary village as acting seyfo.
Seyfo Ansumana Sanneh of Kiang West also has his services terminated and replaced by Alhagie Cherno Sanneh as acting seyfo respectively.
