The Senegalese mbalax star, Thione Seck and his team concluded a weeklong visit in the country organised by the Social Security and Housing Finance Coorperation (SSHFC). The purpose of the visit was to raise funds for the association to contribute in national development especially in the areas of health and agriculture.
Speaking in an interview with Entertainment last Tuesday at the Kairaba Beach Hotel shortly before his departure, Thione Seck thanked the organisers of the programme, noting that the programme was successfully held and the turn-out was good. He further told entertainment journalists that as a musician he came across so many difficulties in his music profession.
According to him, the music industry is full of challenges and fighting one another. The Senegalese musician went on to disclose that since he started music up to date, he had released almost hundred albums. "I am planning to release a new album by the end of this month," he said.
In conclusion, Thione Seck pray for his fans in the country, adding that his fans are always supporting him. He also continue praying for The Gambian leader and the entire people of The Gambia for long life.
