Thief gets mandatory sentence

The Bundung Magistrates' Court, presided over by Magistrate Lamin George on 28th April 2010, convicted and sentenced one Modou Wurry Barry, to a mandatory jail term of three months, following the convict's own plea of guilt to a charge of theft.

According to the charge sheet, on 16th April 2010, at Serrekunda, the accused Modou Wurry Barry stole a carton of Omela milk from a motor vehicle, being the property of one Ousman Sanneh.
