Tanji bash Nyofelleh in late Kajali Badjie, late Ismaila Nyassi Kombo South tourney

Tanji have maintained their unbeaten record in the 2013-2014 late Kajali Badjie and late Ismaila Nyassi Kombo South district football tournament following their slender 1-0 win over Nyofelleh in group B tie played at the Jambanjelly Football Field on Saturday.

Tanji opened the tally in the 20th minutes of the game courtesy of Bakary Njie own goal, which eventually proved to be the winner for the beach boys and are also unbeaten since the start of the tournament in March in 2014

Nyofelleh fought hard for an equalizer and came very closed to leveling the scores in numerous occasions but squandered all their limited goal scoring opportunities and thus the game ended 1-0 in favour of Tanji.

Batokuku on Sunday defeat Berending on the same score line at the Tujereng Football Field to snatch first victory in the late Kajali Badjie and late Ismaila Nyassi Kombo South district football tournament.

Kartong are topping group A with 7 points in three games, Batokunku are 2nd place with 4 points in three games, while Berending and Gunjur Kunkujang 3rd and 4th places respectively with a single points each.

Tanji are leading group B with 7 points in three games, Tujereng and Nyofelleh are 2nd and 3rd places respectively with 4 points each in three games, while Mamuda are struggling with 1 point in three games and are also out of the tournament following their dismal performance.

Jambanjelly are leading group C with 5 points in three games, the reining champions Sifoe are 2nd place with 4 points in two games, while Banyaka and Jambur are 3rd and 4th places respectively with a single point each.
