The
newly-promoted side Tallinding United on Saturday thumped Brikama United in the
week-ten fixtures of the 2016-2017 Gambia Football Federation domestic division
one league played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.
The
Tallinding based-outfit came into the game with 10 points following their 3-2
win over Gambia Armed Forces in their previous fixtures. Brikama United with 9
points after their 2-1 defeat to Marimoo in their previous fixtures.
Tallinding
United managed to grab the vital three points after netting two solid goals to
snatch their first win in the top flight league.
The
defeat was Brikama United’s third loss in the top flight season after losing to
Hawks and Marimoo before their 2-0 defeat to Tallinding United.
