The competition is open to both boys and girls from Lower, Upper and Senior Secondary schools and will be divided into three categories, namely Cadet (7 – 13 yrs), Junior (14 – 16 yrs) and Senior (17 -19 yrs).
The top three boys and top three girls in all categories will be awarded with trophies and cash prizes.
According to GTTA president Peter Prom, schools are invited to start using the facilities (tables, balls & bats) at the Independence Stadium to better prepare their teams for the competition.
He added that GTTA coaches will be at the stadium every day after 5.00 p.m. to register schools (valid identification with date of birth needed) and to render assistance to those who need improvement in their game.
Registration will also take place during the day of the competition between 10 a.m. and 11a.m.
