The draw for the most anticipated annual Muhammad Yahya Jammmeh Super Nawettan Zonal Football Tournament is set for tomorrow Saturday 7th November 2009, at the GFA headquarters in Kanifing.
The draw of the championship is expected to be witnessed by representatives of the eight major Nawettan centres in the country.
According to GFA Education Officer, Abdou Salam Jammeh, the tournament would once again be sponsored by President Yahya Jammeh, the sponsor of last year’s edition.
The date for the commencement of the championship is yet to be decided.
The zones lining up for the annual championship are defending champions Bakau, last year’s runners-up Banjul, Gunjur, Serrekunda West, Serrekunda East, Lamin, Sukuta and Brikama.
These zones would be divided into two groups of four, in which two teams from each group will make it to the semi- finals.
