Jamsen will clash with Makan Bi in the 2015 Banjul Super Cup final, better known as the Mayor Trophy, on Saturday 1 August 2015, at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

The Super Cup final marked the curtain raiser of the 2015 Banjul summer biggest football carnival.

Striker Amadou Jallow’s dying-minutes strike inspired Dunes FC of Nyofelleh to a slender 1-0 win over Kulukochi United in the ongoing Gunjur Nawettan qualifiers game played at the Gunjur Nyamina football field on Sunday.

The victory has earned Nyofelleh boys’ top spot in group A with maximum 3 points in one game following their narrow win over Kulukochi United in their opening game, whilst at the same time leading on goal differences.

Kulukochi United dropped second spot in group A with 3 points in two games following their 1-0 victory over New Town before losing to Nyofelleh in their last outing.

Elsewhere, Passamai beat Alex Sanchaba on the same score-line on Friday to top group B with 3 points in one game.

Qualifiers matches continue today, Tuesday 28 July 2015, with Nyokoyorr to play against Alex Sanchaba in group B.

Nyokoyorr will be vying for a win against the Sanchaba-based outfit to boost their chances of qualifying for the Nawettan proper after missing last year’s Gunjur nawettan due to suspension.

The Sanchaba-based outfit will be hoping to recover against Nyokoyorr in order to fancy their chances of qualifying for the nawettan proper after conceding defeat of 1-0 in the hands of Passamai in their opening group B tie at the weekend.

On Wednesday 29 July 2015, New Town will meet Dunes in group A. New Town are currently rooted at the bottom in group B with zero point in one outing following their 1-0 defeat in their opening qualifiers game.

New Town will be striving for a win against Dunes in order to keep their chances of qualifying for the nawettan proper.

Dunes are currently leading group A with maximum 3 points in one game after their 1-0 win over Kulukochi United in their opening qualifiers game and need just a single point to advance to the Nawettan proper
