Sulayman Norman wins 7th Edition of Abdoulie Saine Memorial Draught

Sulayman Norman of Unity Vous was on Sunday 24 March 2013 crowned champion of the 7th Edition of the Abdoulie Saine Memorial Draught Competition held at the Pope John Paul II Hall in Hagan Street, Banjul, and hosted by Dobson Draught Vous/Club.

Norman won the competition three times in a row meaning he is the owner of the trophy now, and was awarded with the trophy, D7,000 and a certificate.

Sheikh Njie of Dobson Vous came out second and was awarded a cash prize of D4,000 and a certificate.

Babou Sarr of Unity Vous took third position and went home with D2,000 and a certificate; while Ebrima Camara of Dobson Vous occupied fourth position and received D1,000 as award.

The competition, which kicked off on Friday 22 March 2013, brought together 38 participants.

The second round and knockout stages were played on Saturday 23 March 2013, while the quarterfinals, semi-finals, third place and the final were played on Sunday 24 March 2013 to mark the end of the 7th Edition of the Abdoulie Saine Memorial Draught tournament.
