The Sukuta Youth and Sports Committee will on Sunday commence work at the Village football field.
According to Buba Cham Chairman of the Sport Committee the work is meant to upgrade the village football field to a Bahama grass standard and the project will cost the committee D482, 000.
Mr Cham stated that they have not yet meet this cost noting that whilst work is going on they will also continue to raise funds for the project adding that the fundraising will be an ongoing thing.
He appealed to individuals, private-sector and organizations to assist them in this noble gesture.
