Lamin B. Jabang, who graduated from Gambia Senior Secondary School since 2008 is seeking sponsorship to further his education.

After graduating from the Gambia Senior Secondary School, Jabang later proceeded to the Nusrat Management and Accountancy Training Centre (NMATC) where he obtained certificate in information and technology, as well as at the Management Development Institute (MDI) where he also obtained certificate in Banking and Finance.

Jabang, a native of Tujereng village in Kombo South, is presently engaged in garden farming, and would like to further his education. He is therefore seeking sponsorship from the government, the private sector, philanthropists, donors, NGOs, companies and individuals to further his education at the Gambia University, where he intends to study Economics and Management in order to expand his farming business.

In an interview with this reporter on Tuesday at The Point Offices in Fajara, Jabang said he wants to further his education but due to serious financial constraints being experienced by his parents he could not.

“I really want to further my education at the highest level but due to financial constraints I could not afford to do so,” the young Gambian said.

Jabang is appealing to the government, the private sector, philanthropists, donors, NGOs, companies and individuals to come his aid.
