The 2014 CAF Confederation Cup will be the third consecutive appearance for the telecom giants in the CAF second tier football competition, after they were eliminated in the preliminary stage in 2012 by Malian side AS Real De Bamako and in 2013 by Tunisian side CS Faxien.
