Steve Biko FC on Sunday defeated Old Hands 5-1 in the ongoing Samba Faal Sponsored Banjulinding Nooran football tournament at the Banjulinding football field.
Striker Alieu Jarjue netted a hat-trick in the 10th 20th and 29th minutes of the game respectively to dash Old Hands’ hope of coming back to their feet.
As actions resumed in the second period, Steve Biko continued their supremacy over Old Hands and went onto seal the victory in the 66th and 79th minutes thanks to Aziz Corr’s brace.
Old Hands fought hard for an equaliser but could only manage to pull one back through striker Dikora Jawo in the dying minute.
Steve Biko have now collected three points in one game, while Old Hands went home with disappointment.
