News monitored on GRTS television last Friday stated that President Yahya Jammeh, commander-in-chief of the armed forces has redeployed Brigadier General Lamin Bojang, the Commanding Officer of State Guard to the army barracks.
Brigadier General Bojang is replaced by Brigadier General Sering Modou Njie, Chief of Army Staff and Commander of the Republican National Guards, who once served in the position.
