The donated items included a wheel barrow, hosepipe, rake, dustbins and brooms worth over D5000.
The presentation was charactersied with a clean-up exercise jointly organised with Association of School Network under the National Commission for UNESCO (NATCOM).

Speaking at the Bakau Lower Basic School campus, the President of the Soroptimist International Banjul, Mrs. Elizabeth Jawo Njai disclosed that the Soroptimist International is purely a woman association with the aim of empowering women, girls, and under- privileged, especially the elderly and girls.
Noting that they also collaborate with UN in recognising International Days, such as the World Environment Day, she thanked their partners for their continuous support and further applauded Julbrew for providing them with the T-shirts.
