The final for the annual Soninkara youth football tournament is billed for Sunday 17 May 2015 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
According to organisers of the tourney, this year’s final will be contested between the two biggest Sarahuleh societies in The Gambia, hence it is expected to attract sports lovers from far and near.
The opening of the final between Sabi FC and Demba Kunda Krumba FC will be done by the GFF president, added the organisers.
In previous years, they added, they managed to facilitate football tournaments to break barriers and create awareness to the general public about the significance of sports and their role as Sarahuleh community in promoting grassroots football development as manifested in the current GFF leadership.
Their sporting body is also geared towards promoting unity, tolerance, respect and understanding among themselves, they said.
