Tomorrow’s meeting will be the first of Sierra Leone Armed Forces andtelecommunication giants Gamtel in the continent’s second tier football clubs competition better known as CAF Confederation Cup.
The 2014 CAF Confederation Cup will be the third appearance of the telecommunications giants in the continent’s second tier football club competition but were eliminated in the second round in 2012 by Malian side AS Real De Bamako and 2013 by Tunisian side CS Fasxien.
The telecommunications boys will make all efforts to produce positive result in Freetown in the first leg come tomorrow and finish the job in Banjul in the return leg in a fortnight’s time to keep their hopes of reaching the group stage for the first time.
Sierra Leone Armed Forces, on the other hand, will also be hoping for a convincing win against the Gambian representative, Gamtel, tomorrow to keep their chances of qualifying for the group phase.
