SK United set to battle with Banjul Utd for survival in top flight

Serrekunda United will battle with Banjul United tomorrow, Saturday 14 May 2016, at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium for survival to the top flight next season.

Serrekunda and Banjul are respectively struggling second place from bottom and bottom in the topflight, and will strive to beat each other to increase their chances of staying in the top flight next season and avoid relegation to the second tier.

Defending league champions Gamtel will clash with Gambia Ports Authority at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Gamtel are automatically out of the league title race, and will be playing for pride after their dismal performance in the league campaign.

Gambia Ports Authority are leading the race and will fight to beat Gamtel to improve their chances of winning the league title.

Elsewhere, Wallidan will play against Steve Biko at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on the same day.

Wallidan are one place above relegation zone and will hunt to defeat Steve Biko to increase their chances of staying in the top flight for another season and avoid relegation to the second division.

Steve Biko are four places above safety and will stun to ruin Wallidan to improve their position in the league.

On Sunday 15 May 2016, Real De Banjul will meet Brikama United at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Real De Banjul and Brikama United are both among the teams competing for the league title, and will search for a win against each other to fancy their hopes of clinching the league title.

Bombada will welcome Samger at the Brikama Box Mini Stadium. Bombada and Samger are not yet in the top flight, and will target to defeat each other to avoid relegation to the second tier and remain in the top flight for another season.

Elsewhere, Hawks will take on Gambia Armed Forces at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium on the same day.

Hawks are already safe in the top flight, and will be playing for pride after being booted out the league title race.

Gambia Armed Forces are not yet safe in the top flight, and need a positive result against Hawks to keep their chances of staying in the top flight for another season and avoid relegation to the second division.
