The Annual General Meeting of the Sports Journalists’ Association of The Gambia (SJAG) planned to take place on 26 September has now been moved to 3 October 2015.
The decision was taken by the executive committee during an executive meeting on Wednesday, following demands from members that the scheduled date was too close to the Tobaski.
While apologizing for any incontinence the change might have caused some members, “the executive thank you for the understanding and cooperation and look forward to meeting you at the AGM”.
During the AGM, the assistant secretary general Alieu Ceesay and treasurer Namory Trawally will present their reports before members.
Meanwhile, the executive body of SJAG under the acting presidency of Musa Sise wishes all sports journalists a Happy Tobaski in advance and prays that all live to witness many more to come.
“We also seize this opportunity to invite all sports journalists to a very important general meeting on Saturday, 19 September, 2015 by 11:30am at Africell Building along Kairaba Avenue,” SJAG said.
