The Sierra Leone football team in The Gambia will face their Nigerian counterparts in the final of the Nigeria Golden Jubilee tournament today, Monday, 27 September 2010 at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium at 4.30pm.
The Sierra Leone football team advanced to the final following their 5-4 victory on penalty shootout over the Sports Journalists Association of The Gambia (SJAG), in the semi-final played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on 24 September 2010, after the normal play of time ended 1-1.
Sierra Leone took the lead midway into the first half of the game while Lamin Drammeh leveled the score line for The Gambia in the dying minutes of the game resulting in a penalty shootout, which Sierra Leone won by 5-4.
