Serrekunda East Zonal team will face defending champions Bakau Zonal team in the grand final game of the Baby Muhammed Jammeh Perpetual Zonal Football Championship this Sunday 13th December 2009, at the Serrekunda East Mini-Stadium.
Serrekunda East were unable to reach the final since they won the championship back in 2006, after beating Brikama in the final. They booked their ticket to the final after thrashing neighbours Serrekunda West 2-0 in their semi- final clash earlier on Sunday.
The most anticipated final game is expected to be graced by significant dignitaries and football lovers across Greater Banjul Area, Western Region and its environs.

The winner of the championship would go home with a giant trophy and a cash prize of D 50, 000, while the runners-up will get D 30, 0000, and third place holder would receive D20, 000. The forth place holder would get D15, 000.00 and the four remaining teams each would receive D10, 000 as the consolation prize.
