GFA second division league leaders Serrekunda East drew 3-3 with Lamin FC in their week eleven encounter of the ongoing GFA second division league at the Brikama Mini Stadium on Thursday.
Both teams put up a respectable performance in the first 15 minutes of the game. Serrekunda East opened the scores through striker Modou Sallah in the 20th minute but Lamin FC fought back to level the tally in the 29th minute through striker Sainey Manneh.
Serrekunda East who are unbeaten since the start of the second division league season and also fighting for a place in GFA first division next season double their lead in the 38 minute when striker Modou Sallah netted his second goal of the game for his team Serrekunda East and Lamin FC levelled the tally in the 43 minute of the game and the first half ended 2-2.
As play resumed in the second half, Serrekunda East who want to play top flight football next season, came all out for victory and mounted heavy pressure on Lamin FC.
Modou Sallah scored his hat-trick in the 69 minute and Lamin FC cancelled the tally 3-3 in the 80 minute through Hamang Conteh as he registered his second goal of the game. On the same day Kaira Silo defeated struggling Jambangjelly 2-1 at the Manjai Football Field.
In the other week eleven scores, Nema United lost Serrekunda United 1-0 at the Brikama Mini Stadium; GPA thrashed Interior 2-0 at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
