Guinea Conakry ConnexionGamrap Dancehall Festival will be on stage on 31st
December 2014 at Jakarlo Centre Stage, OrganisersNdonngol Entertainment
announced on Monday.
Gambia artistes expected to be on stage that night are Da Concrete, Miss Jobis, Symbol D, Trouble Shooters, Jah Militant, P Thuga, New Era, Jabez, Og Lo, Mo Hawk, Tam 50, Daddy Boston, Chevy, Nyasen G, Papa Lenghty, Qibla, Maha, Sir X, G-gal, M Nizzle, GrandizKrooz, Mafia, MK Empire, Badibunka, DroKilla, Nova, Bro K, Minka, E Nyassi, AduGi, Baba Blood,Lady Quency, KarimXrumXax of Masxuba Crew of Senegal and Ghetto Governor of Guinea Conakry.
Mamour M. Mbenga alias KifaBaharama, Program Coordinator Ndonngol Entertainment, said the objective behind this festival is to take Gambian music beyond borders by networking with artistes in the sub region.
“We are up largely to promote African talents; promote different skills in the entertainment industry like singing, instrumentalists and dancers,” he said.
He added that: “We intend to make the festival annually to promote talents, with T-shirts, mix tapes and albums of Gambian artistes on sale during the event.”
He urged Gambians to come and support the maiden event.
