The Senegalese Division One League outfit Jaraaf wrapped-up their visit to The Gambia with a second defeat against Young Africans who entertained their fellow FA cup winners in the Senegalese FA cup competition to a narrow one-nil victory at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Friday.
The last year's FA cup title holders, Jaraaf who are using their tour to The Gambia to prepare themselves much better before the start of the Confederation of African Football Club Championship when they play host to Fus Rabat of Morocco in their first leg in February landed in Banjul, a fortnight ago and were since involved in four friendly matches against different Division One teams in the country's top flight football.
The visitors that left Banjul on Saturday morning for Dakar managed to win two out of the four matches played.
Their hope of going home with their third victory suffered a massive setback when Young Africans stunned them with a one-nil victory, courtesy of Yusupha Sarr's powerful right- footed strike at the edge of the opponents' penalty area, a few minutes to stoppage time.
The visitors who have got several huge players in their side failed to capitalise on their best chance of an exciting friendly encounter from a penalty spot when Young Africans goalkeeper was forced to make a world class save to deny the Senegalese outfit a wonderful scoring chance in what appeared to be their final friendly match on Gambian soil before heading back home on Saturday.
