In her launching statement, the president of The Gambia Press Union, Ndey Tapha Sosseh, hailed Seedy and Derek Annable for publishing the book and he urged them to keep up the momentum.
She noted that Seedy and Derek are role models in our society and she expressed optimism that the book will go a long way in improving the people in The Gambia.
Madi Ceesay, the director of Media Agenda, said that the book will aid journalists in their profession and he revealed that to be a professional, journalists need to adopt a culture of reading.
