One Solo Ndure, a resident of Sanchaba Sulaye Jobe, was on 9th November 2009 arraigned before a magistrate court to answer to a charge of wilful damage to property preferred against him, a charge he denied.
According to the charge sheet, on 1st November 2009, at Sanchaba Sulaye Jobe, the accused wilfully and unlawfully cut 27 pieces of banana plants and one kilo of pawpaw, being the properties of one Mama Gitteh.
Meanwhile, the accused was granted a court bail in the sum of D7, 000 with one Gambian surety.
The case that was presided over by Magistrate Lamin George of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court was adjourned to 14th November 2009.
