This latest success followed their 3-0 defeat to current league leaders Gambia Ports Authority and 3-1 defeat to Hawks in their previous fixtures a fortnight ago.

Wallidan, who are currently struggling at second position from bottom with 19 points, came into the game with the hopes of bagging the maximum points against Samger to remain in the topflight next season.

Samger, who have lost two games in a row and knew a defeat against Wallidan would dash their title hopes, outplayed Wallidan in the whole game.
