Sait Matty have bounced back to their winning form in the 2011-2012 season after a convincing 3-1 win over embattled Gunjur United, in their re-scheduled week 14 fixtures played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Tuesday.
Sait Matty lost to second-place Interior in the 16 week fixtures at the weekend. They are currently at 3rd place in the league standing with 27 points, and Gunjur United are struggling at the bottom of the league table with only 10 points.
Sait Matty is now standing at seven points behind league leaders Seaview.
Gunjur United managed to score only one goal, which eventually proved to be a consolation goal for the South boys, and the defeat placed them in the relegation zone with only 10 points in fifteen games, with three more games to go. They need to win their remaining three games in order to stand the chance of staying in the second tier next season.
Sait Matty are still sitting in 3rd position in the league standings with 30 points in fifteen games, and seven points behind current league leaders Seaview, who bagged 37 points in sixteen games, and three points behind 2nd place Interior with 33 points in sixteen games.
