Ron-Mango which has arguably proven as one of the best Nawettan teams over the past few years, once again succeeded in retaining a back-to-back title after securing a resounding 3-2 win against Vidar to clinch their second Knock-out title in two years.

Ron-Mango became the champions, and they were awarded a cheque for D9.000, while Vidar that finished the tournament as the runners-up collected a cheque for D6.000.
Meanwhile, Ball Conge FC are the 2009 Serrekunda East league champions following their 2-0 victory over Rangers FC last Friday 20th November.
Ball Conge’s Ousman Touray opened the scoring for his side in the 18th minute from a superb header.
Striker Habib Koroma doubled the advantage for Ball Conge FC in the 37th minute.
Ball Conge FC went home with a giant trophy and a cash prize of D30, 000, while the runners-up Rangers FC collected a consolation prize of D20, 000.
The leading goal scorer of the league went to Amadou Baldeh of Leeds United, Medina FC’s fan club were named the most disciplined and supporting side of the tournament, while Musa Bah of Ball Conge FC was also named the man of the match award after putting in a respectable performance.
