Rising UK Artist Concludes Visit to Smiling Coast

British singer songwriter, Original Sonofman has concluded a 14 week long visit to the smiling coast of Africa. Sonofman's visit to the country was prior to worldwide album launch.

Speaking in an interview with Entertainment shortly before his departure, the UK artist said his visit to The Gambia was a total success, noting that he was able to meet with the movers and shakers of Gambian music industry. He said a foundation has been laid to make the music industry effective, adding that a lot of discussion concerning music has been put in place. He declared, "My intention is to make money and come back and put that money into The Gambian music industry, he posited.
According to him, his main visit to the country was to meet and compare notes with Gambian musicians as a way of finding ways for a collaborative and fruitful working relationship.I also thank the Governor of Basse for inviting me to have a concert in the second capital. He said during his visit, he was able to learn so many local languages. Original Sonofman therefore thanked the CEO of Champion Sounds Promotion, DJ Lamin Cham, for awarding him the best international artist of the year.

Touching on the release of his album, the UK artist revealed that his album entitled A Guita and A Song has been released and is available in Timbooktoo Bookshophop in Fajara.The album contains 15 tracks and meanwhile it will be distributed in places like Brikama and the Senegambia area. He said those who need the album can reach his distributor on 9903880. Original Sonofman upon arrival in the UK is expected to tour the European countries possibly in the United States of America. Original Sonofman finally thanked The Gambia music industry for coming together as one. He also sent a special thanked to president Jammeh, people like Oko Drammeh, DJ Lamin Cham and all the Gambian musicians, including the security forces of the country.
