We learnt with big shock and disappointment the alleged impregnating of three students in the Upper River Region.
A local media report yesterday alleged the impregnating of at least three students in Region Six.
The students were said to be in grades 8, 9 and 10 respectively.
We are calling on the police to investigate the matter seriously, and any other similar case whether in Basse or other parts of the country.

We believe that a teacher, soldier or police officer or a local authority official should not use his influence to make any girl, especially school girls to have sex with them.
The laws of the country are very clear, and no one irrespective of his position should abuse our young girls, thus disrupting their education.
