The
GFF has announced that it has equipped all Regional Football Associations
(RFAs) with desktop computers, printers, office tables and chairs, visitor’s
chairs, filing cabinets, cupboards, and solar panels.
This support is part of the Gambia Football Federation’s strategic development plan to fast track the decentralization and development of regional football throughout The Gambia.
The items were provided through a financial assistance package received from FIFA under the FIFA Member Associations Performance Program, a GFF media release stated.
The GFF thanked the Government of The Gambia through the Ministry of Youth and Sports for assisting the RFAs to secure offices and FIFA for funding “this very important activity”.
The GFF further assured all stakeholders that “it is fully committed” to the decentralization of football throughout The Gambia.
