The annual championship heats brings together Upper and Senior Secondary Schools within region one, and attracts spectators from Greater Banjul and its environs.
Region two, three, four and five have already held their annual inter-school regional athletics heats since last month.
The 2016 inter-school athletics final is fixed for 18, 19 and 20 March 2016, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
