Papa Gassama would be received at Banjul international airport and taken to the GFF Secretariat in Kanifing, where he would be received by the GFF Executive and the Gambia Referees Association, a GFF release said.
Gassama would make a statement on his CAF award and his eventual AFCON duties in Equatorial Guinea, the release added.
The GFF took the opportunity to thank President Yahya Jammeh, ministry of Youth and Sports, its partners, all stakeholders and the general public for their support, as well as for the encouragement and prayers offered for Gassama’s success in Africa and the world at large.
