Red Hawks beat BK Milan in 2nd division

Red Hawks on Thursday thrashed BK Milan 3-0 in their opening 2016-2017 Gambia Football Federation second division league match, played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

The victory has earned the Banjul-based outfit their first-ever 3 points in the new second tier season, following their stunning win over the Bakau-based outfit and first-ever defeat for BK Milan in the second tier season.

Elsewhere, newly-promoted side Waa Banjul beat Serrekunda East Bi 1-0 at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on the same day.

Red Hawks and Waa Banjul are both with 3 points each in one game, after beating BK Milan and Serrekunda East Bi in their opening league fixtures.

Serrekunda East Bi and BK Milan are with zero points each in one game, after losing to Waa Banjul and Red Hawks in their opening league games.
