Real De Banjul defeated bitter-rivals Wallidan 3-0 in Week 9 of the Gambia Football Association (GFA) division one league at a match played at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium at the weekend.
Real de Banjul opened the score in the 25th minute through striker Buba Jallow. Moments later Real De Banjul increased the tally to 2-0 in the 55th minute when striker Modou Njie-Sarr netted the second goal.
Sarr again sealed the victory in the 75th minute to complete his brace.
In the other Week 9 fixtures, Gambia Ports Authority were held to a goalless draw by Hawks, at the Banjul KG5 Mini-stadium.
In the league standing, Real De Banjul have now collected 9 points in nine games; while Wallidan have bagged 10 points, Gambia Ports Authority 13 points and Hawks 7 points all in nine games.
