Principal wins GNL jackpot

The Gambia National Lottery GNL, on 17th May, 2010, presented D592, 370 to its lucky winner, at a presentation ceremony held at their headquarters in Kanifing.

The winner Isaac Ague happens to be the Principal of Model Senior Secondary School in Busumbala. He went home with a cheque for D574,100 after winning the Jackpot and D18,270 in 12 points and 11 points, in addition.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Marketing Manager of GNL Mr. Fabakary Jammeh, told the gathering that GNL would continue to live up to the expectations of its customers.

He said it is not a magic to survive for fifteen years without encountering any problem. He added that what they are doing is a part of their social responsibilities. Furthermore, Mr. Jammeh pointed out that their institution contributes to government efforts in the fields of education, health and sports, describing GNL as a poverty alleviation institude.

For his part, the Chief Accountant at GNL Mr. Amadou Marenah stated that it is not a surprise for Isaac to win this lucrative prize, as according to him, they have been playing it. He told the customers to keep patronising the GNL.

The winner, for his part, assured the gathering that he would continue patronising GNL.
