The trial of one Saikou Gibba, who is standing trial at the Bundung Magistrates' Court for alleged false information and perjury was recently heard in-camera before Principal Magistrate Olajibutu Kayode.
When the case was called, the state counsel applied for the case to be heard in camera due to the fact that his witness is a state security agent and that his identity should not be revealed to the public in the interest of the state.
The defence counsel Assan Martin did not object to the state counsel's application and the matter was subsequently heard in camera.
The case was then adjourned to 13th August 2009
