The criminal trial of perjury and false information involving one Saikou Gibba could not proceed at the Bundung Magistrates' Court as expected.
When the case was called before Magistrate Lamin George, the accused, Saikou Gibba told the court that his counsel was not in court, while his witness had traveled to Senegal.
State Counsel Anna Dibba, for her part, told the court that she was ready to proceed since the case was adjourned for more than two occasions.
The case was subsequently adjourned to 7th July 2010.
